Description:  Cedar Berry increases venous blood flow.

Internal uses:  It has been used for coughs, fevers, pulmonary catarrh, rheumatism, scurvy, tuberculosis, diabetes, toothache and to promote menstruation. An infusion was also used by pregnant women prior to childbirth in order to relax the muscles.

External uses:  A gum from the plant has been used as a temporary filling in a decayed tooth.
