Therapeutic actions: Antiseptic; Aromatic; Anodyne; Carminative; Decongestant; Diaphoretic; Diuretic; Digestive; Emmenagogue; Rubefacient; Stimulant; Stomachic; Tonic.

Drug interactions: Interacts with loop and Thiazide diuretics, Spironolactone, Triamterene.

Description: Juniper is high in natural insulin. It has the ability to restore the pancreas when no permanent damage has been done.

Internal uses: It is a counter-poison and a strengthener of the brain, memory and optic nerve. As a potent diuretic, the urine flow is increased and has the smell of violets. The berries also help to reduce flatulence and tone the digestive system. It has been known to help renal dropsy, sciatic, swollen joints, rheumatic pains, lumbago, chest problems, gravel, poisoning, gonorrhea, chest problems and scurvy. Other uses: asthma, bladder infection, fluid retention, gout, indigestion, obesity and prostate disorders. They help to freshen the breath and help heal infected gums when chewed.

Suggested dosage: 1—2 grams 3 times daily. Tincture 1—2 ml 3 times daily.
