Tendonitis is the inflammation of the connective tissue that connect muscle to bone, and tendons are much less vascular than muscle so they tend to heal a bit slower, but herbs and other natural remedies can help.

Turmeric and ginger work great for tendonitis… helping to rid the body of inflammation and increase circulation thus speeding up the healing process.
