Description: Traditionally it was employed as an ophthalmic to treat and clear the eyesight.
Internal uses: It has been used more as a mild sedative, antispasmodic, detoxifying, relaxing the muscles of the bronchial tubes, intestines and other organs. It has also been used for jaundice, eczema, scrofulous diseases, a sedative for the inflammation of the biliary duct, stomach pains, asthma, bronchitis, whooping cough, liver, gallstones and gallbladder pains. A popular medicine used in Russia for cancer.
External uses: Mix the fresh juice with vinegar to remove warts. It can also be made into an ointment and used on ringworm, eczema and other skin diseases.
Suggested dosage: Tincture 1—3 ml into water and sip slowly 10—30 minutes before eating
Caution: Do not give this herb to children or pregnant. Do not use if have liver problems.
