Description: Couchgrass is mainly used for urinary complaints.
Internal uses: It has been used in urinary infections such as cystitis, urethritis, prostatitis, enlarged prostate, kidney stones and gravel. Its’ demulcent properties soothe irritation and inflammation. It has been used with other herbs in the treatment of rheumatism. It has a gentle remedial effect which is well-tolerated by the body and has no side-effects. It has been used for the following conditions: pyelitis, gonorrhea, glandular problems and hematuria. This plant is also a favorite medicine of domestic cats and dogs, who will often eat large quantities of the leaves.
