Drug interactions:  No known drug interactions.

Description:  Well known for its balancing effects to the female reproductive system.

Internal uses:  It has been used to stimulate milk flow, regulate the menstrual cycle, PMS and menopausal symptoms.

Other uses: Fibroids, inflammation of the womb lining, low energy, and cramping, fibroid cysts, uterine healing after childbirth, increases and improves breast milk and rebalancing after discontinued use of the contraceptive pill. The berries are considered to be an aphrodisiac, though other reports say that they are anaphrodisiac. The reason for this apparent disagreement is that the berries have a regulating effect on the body and are likely to increase sexual activity in those who are not very active in this area, while reducing it in those who are very active. It is useful to promote fertility in women.

Suggested dosage:  30—40 mg daily
